The extremely thin heat藍能ing element produces negligible am雪子ount of fumes and therefore the明資 use of these strippe日用rs does not require speci紅路al ventilation. The fumes pro在場duced by thick element designed t筆就ools should be exhausted.

The element design features two生志 sections. Ringing se師暗ction (a heated section where th工自e insulation is therma謝視lly separated) and pullin知光g section where the th來筆ermally separated ins問公ulation slug is wedg高化ed between two parallel edges 自得of the stripping ele個麗ment for an easy removal. Adju腦行stable gauge selector will 志又block the entrance of the wedged 站街conductor to the next and small但我er opening thus preve通船nting any scraping of the conductor. A農木lthough this section of the elemen吃視t also carries the current which h弟身eats the grooving se路離ction, it is not annealed 輛事(due to its greater wi冷愛dths and therefore much lowe藍黃r resistance) and it re地作tains its hard temper. In additio腦美n, these edges are also su秒視pported by .025″ thick, hard t城秒emper element support. This will al空林low pulling a slug as long 說都as 12″ without damaging 放可the element. Please note that condu事男ctors # 24-30 AWG are stripped樹秒 directly at the heated en內說d of the stripping elemen看技t. The inner surface are海裡a of these wires against the 制拍insulation is very small so there is森市 no danger to damage拿空 the element while pu綠場lling off the slug. The stripping e紅微lement is only .010″ t西公hick (.008″ PTS-10) a少美nd therefore the thermally cut業要 groove width is muc作志h narrower than the 通司two element models offered by other 林懂manufacturers. This low mass thermal st到通ripping technology means le山區ss power, faster heating 光東time, shorter cooling time fewer fume年歌s and higher quality strip. The明好 longevity of the ele又山ment is also greatly extended because 一生the annealed portion北到 of the element is used ma分上inly for ringing (separati做下ng) the insulation rather西暗 than pulling off the飛多 slug.
